All dogs go to heaven
The room smells of peanut butter cake and pink daisy flower's. Today at 4:00 p.m. Nouri is going to be sent to a magical place. Our dog, Nouri, was the best dog in the world with an appetite for chocolate........ and also destruction. Before she goes peacefully, we are going to celebrate her life with some of the humans that loved her and she loved back, my mom, dad, sister, grandma and grandpa, Jessica and me. She will be 105 ( 14 years and 71 days). My sister made her a daisy-chain necklace, we baked her favorite cake, Yellow cake with peanut butter in it and chocolate frosting on top.

ReplyDeletethank you for reading it
ReplyDeleteShe looks like she was a good girl! I am so glad she was able to spend time hanging out with her family and eating cake with peanut butter! We had a similar party for my sweet dog Whitney, who died three weeks ago after following a similar path of eating and destruction. I especially miss how she used to eat all the scraps off the floor after dinner- now I need to buy a broom! I was so sad and now I am just kinda sad and don't cry every day- just some days. It gets better. She was lucky to have so many people love her and you were lucky to have her unconditional doggy love...
ReplyDeleteThe cake was surprisingly good! We love you Nouri!
ReplyDeleteYou are a very enlightened young man, Miles Anderson. Well done.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry for you loss. She was lucky to have such a wonderful loving family. YES dogs go to heaven!
